Adult Coloring Bunting in 5 Easy Steps

Who said adult coloring pages aren’t party material? Follow these easy steps and create your own party garland to color in!

1. Print your template

First things first, you’ll need a template for the bunting flags! I created one especially for you. Fill the form below and you’ll instantly receive your printable via email.

Print several copies of the template on white paper.

2. Color in the flags

Once your template is printed, it’s time to start coloring! I recommend sticking to a color palette of 3-5 colors. Pick tones that will match the party theme.

Idea: With Halloween just around the corner, you might want to consider a combination of black, purple, orange and green 😉

3. Cut the shapes

Once colored, cut out the flags from the pages. This is exciting! You’re nearly done with your DIY project! How does it feel?

4. Tie the flags to a string

It’s time to mount the flags on a ribbon or string. See the white tab at the top of the flag template? Fold it over to the back. Put the string or ribbon in between and glue the paper together.

5. Hang up your finished garland

All done! Now you can hang up your finished garland or store it until the next big party.

Idea: Instead of coloring in the illustrated flags, you could cut out the flags from your finished artworks. This will save you a lot of coloring time, but most importantly – you’ll have a chance to repurpose your old coloring pages!

Happy Coloring,

    1. I’m glad you like it! I strongly believe that art should be celebrated and displayed, so my mission is to make coloring products that double as practical items 😊❤️

  1. What an easy and fun way to get the room decorated. I say that because I’m going to have my students do something similar and I appreciate the idea! We need to decorate for a Valentine’s Day party.

  2. I have two adult coloring books but I haven’t done any coloring in a long time. I want to download your printables and start coloring again.

  3. This seems like a great idea for some really special and festive decorations for Valentine 🙂
    Thanks for the tip!

  4. I have never got into the adult coloring books, but my mother and stepfather love them. I can appreciate them. I think this is such a great blog post and I have bookmarked it so I can send this to my mom and stepdad. Thank you so much for sharing.
